Lyngdorf

Music For Pleasure is happy to add Lyngdorf Audio to our already impressive line of electronics. Lyngdorf is a Danish company that has been around for quite some time. Some of you may remember we looked at a line in the late 90's early 2000 called TACT. TACT was Lyngdorf in the US back then. We heard it at CES one year and were amazed at how it made the room or walls disappear. We have tried many other brands over the years that offer their own version of room correction only to find that the units over compensated by pulling too much of the information out. The result was boring, lifeless, uninspiring sound. Early this year, we brought the TDAI 3400 and MP50 in to play around with. I had it at home running it through its paces for months trying to find a flaw. After all, it is digital amplification and uses a form of room correction...... After quite a bit of listening, I brought it into the shop and proceeded to test it with all of our loudspeaker brands. The result? All of us were shocked at how well it performed and were dumbfounded at the performance improvement offered up by Room Perfect. We will be slowly bringing in several products from the TDAI 2470 and 3400 (currently displayed) as well as the new MP 60 in our dedicated theater room as a higher end solution than what we currently are showing.
